You’ll need to meet the following eligibility criteria to qualify for a place on the internship program.
- You should be a full time undergraduate student.
- Your age should be at least 18 years at the time of application.
- You should have a good knowledge of English and/or French.
- Your internship at CERN must be recommended or obligatory part of your studies.
- Your main field of study should be one of the following technical areas:

The application process of CERN Short Term Internship is online. It’s simple and to the point. All you need is a good CV either in English or French. During the online application, you’ll be asked some basic questions about your academics and other details. You’ll also be asked to write a short motivation letter and your knowledge/experience related to the work you’ll be doing in the internship.
